5 out of 5 stars Fun read!   November 14, 2008
An easy, fun read. What a sassy book! I loved it and am reading her next one!

5 out of 5 stars LOL!!   November 4, 2008
Jen Lancaster is one of the most hilarious chick lit authors I have come across so far. This is the first in a series of books which she has written which will keep you laughing from start to finish!

2 out of 5 stars Dont you just LOVE me!!   October 21, 2008
This book is just not funny enough. The author is throroughly despicable of course and while she pays lip service to this fact you get the idea that she really does believe that she is adorable. This doesn't go down well to an Australian audience. The kind of mouthy, self important egomaniac portrayed here would have her butt kicked promptly and we would delight in her downfall and not particularly want to see a rehabilitation. It didn't seem to go anywhere and I just didn't care what happened to her....in fact the worse it got, the more I liked it and when a recovery was in sight I was hoping for the full flame out that would be justice for her previous appalling arrogance. A largely unfunny lesson in hubris.

5 out of 5 stars Grab a cocktail & get ready for a wild ride!   October 10, 2008
I was kind of late getting on the "Jennsylvania" bandwagon, bought all 3 books & now anxiously awaiting the 4th! I soooo want to meet her for a drink as a fellow Chicagoan, Purdue Pi Phi (I graduated before she was in high school) and ex Sales VP (pretty sure all of our salemen had VP on there cards at the time!) turned pet sitter, now doing what I want in cosmetics research (I was told that wouldn't pay as much as sales, they were right ):!!but much more fun and interesting). These books are great for us over 50 crowd, all my Pi Phi friends are VERY PROUD of her accomplishments, sense of wit and realization that life is funny! Cheers!

5 out of 5 stars HILARIOUS!   September 30, 2008
Jen Lancaster = my new favorite author! She is hilarious and sarcastic, and I love all of her books. This one being my absolute favorite!
