One of the best manuals I've seen published... December 20, 2008
I'm mixed on these types of books to begin with. With RPG's these books are cheats that take away the surprise and fun of doing it for yourself. However, one usually encounters that mission or quest with some hidden (or just stup-i-fying) wrinkle that calls for a little assistance. If used that way, I think these books are great. Moreover, once you do the mission it's IS fun to look at the book as an "after action report" to see what you've missed or how things could have been done different.
Fine.
As for the book itself, I bought it as a 2-for-1 promotion with the collectors edition (an amazon special) and in the process paid less than full price (a little more than 1/2 I think); making it well worth it.
Rare for a game guide to be hard-cover, this one is, a nice touch. Morevoer, it's generaly well written, covers everything and it's a humorous read. These guys had fun playing the game and making the guide. There is the occasional typo or spelling mistake (this is not for the NY Times Bestseller list) but it's usually rare and minor.
It's worth the price of admission.
In my opinion, if you can get it as a bundle, don't let it pass you by.

Great Guide December 16, 2008
This is a great Guide. Anyone that has this game needs to pick it up. It has a great walkthrough with pics, tells you the locations to all the items you need like bobble heads and others.
also includes a huge map of the wasteland and marks all the locations to vist.

This is a great guide. I love the fact that it's not the soft bound like normal guides. It lays open to the pages that I need and I don't have to worry about it falling apart after a while of use like other guides.
Great Fallout 3 Guide December 15, 2008
Great guide and reference to Fallout 3. Also has a big map that shows all the sites and locations. I highly recommend it.
