5 out of 5 stars A Book for the Future   January 1, 2009

I wish he had explained the banking system in greater depth. For anyone who wants to understand more about the monetary system, look up:

1. by Alan Greenspan -- "Gold and Economic Freedom"
2. by Milton Friedman -- "The Resource Cost of Irredeemable Paper Money"
3. by Robert L. Owen -- Foreword to Gertrude Coogan's "Money Creators"

Greenspan was chairman of the Federal Reserve.
Friedman was the leader of the monetarist school of economics.
Senator Owen sponsored the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.

It really is impossible to discuss politics intelligently if you don't understand the monetary system. Thanks, Ron Paul, for bringing this up.

5 out of 5 stars Manditory reading   December 31, 2008

What Ron Paul brings to the table that separates him from virtually all other politicians, is historical reference and logic. His conclusions aren't conjecture or unfounded theory, but rather they are backed by previous events and sound logic. I found this to be more assuring and substantial than blind faith or hope based upon vague ideas.

For those that are looking for more direction or support towards an ideal America, or life for that matter, then I highly recommend reading this book, more than once. It is so simple yet our government, and the people, so miss the mark when it comes to governance. Luckily we have those that can articulate sound ideas amongst the political rhetoric.

5 out of 5 stars A must read.   December 31, 2008
A must read not only for the american patriot, but also for every patriot around the world loving the message of liberty.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic appraisal of what went (and still is going) wrong   December 30, 2008
Dr. Paul does a fantastic job of identifying the problems... I just wish he detailed more "grass roots" solutions. There is only 1 Ron Paul in Washington - we need more, but we have to start locally.

5 out of 5 stars Revolution is our only chance   December 30, 2008

Ron Paul paves the way for the United States to return to economic prosperity.
Until more of America learns that the Socialist path of our current political system is self annihilating we will continue to deteriorate as a country.
