Book Description
A fascinating expose proving that Nazi Germany won the race for the atom bomb in late 1944. Were the Nazis secretly researching the occult, alternative physics and new energy sources' This scientific-historical journey tracks down the proof and answers these fascinating questions: * What were the Nazis developing in Czechoslovakia' * Why did the US Army test the atom bomb on Hiroshima' * Why did the Luftwaffe fly a non-stop round-trip mission within twenty miles of New York City in 1944'

4 out of 5 stars I haven't made up my mind yet   July 27, 2008

Joseph Farrell, regardless of his earlier lunatic fringe work on the Giza Plateau and mystical pre-Egyptian weapons systems, has created a work every serious student of the Second World War should read. He asks questions about a variety of things may of us have taken for granted for years. I'd stopped asking questions about the Manhattan Project after I read "Enola Gay" in third grade, 1982. It seemed a done deal.

All well-researched questions are asked about sudden U235 shortages at Oak Ridge and Hanford, unanswered questions about three independent German programs, a Japanese program whose surviving facilities might have spurred Macarthur's drive to the Yalu five years later, and other unanswered questions that could benefit from more eyes in the WWII enthusiast community. Who knows what the truth is after sixty years of classfied material. Why did we choose to bomb Japan with an untested weapon, one that one report suggests was actually captured German ordnance? While "The Bell" project is big in novels now, and Nazi UFOs are mostly the stuff of David Drake's story "The Last Battalion", there are a lot of loose ends in the WWII tapestry that could benefit from fresh eyes.

3 out of 5 stars Fun Book interesting subject   July 6, 2008
this is a fun subjective interpretation of history.. farrell is not heavy handed or too "out there" he does however tend to cite other "alt history" authors to make his case. There is little common evidence cited. which make it difficult to confirm or deny claims made. but overall worthwhile read like I said a fun book

5 out of 5 stars inner circles of SS weapons research   May 4, 2008

In this book, Farrell begins investigating the "missing" history surrounding the Nazis and World War II. In his usual precise and meticulous way, he peels back layers of disinformation and historical fog to uncover astounding revelations about what we have been told about that time in history.

To put it succinctly, we've been duped. We have not been told the truth about just how advanced Nazi research was, and how VERY close they came to conquering the world by force in the 1940s. (We were at most a couple of weeks from nuclear bombs raining down on the U.S.) History, as we have been told it, is riddled with lies.

The Nazis were further along with nuclear weapons than we have been led to believe, even to the point of having developed two, possibly three, generations of nuclear bombs, among other things. The Manhattan Project could not have had our bombs ready for Japan when it did were it not for captured (surrendered, actually) Nazi information and materials. Their progress in other areas, such as electronics, new submarines, fuel/air bombs, etc., was also far beyond what is generally known. Most of what Corso claimed came from "aliens" was more likely from Nazi research. The alien thing just helps feed the coverup.

Farrell also takes us into the inner circles of the SS, which at these levels refers to Schwarze Sonne, or "The Black Sun," a topic of deeply occult and scientific significance. The SS had many levels, and at the top level was like a sinister version of the Round Table of King Arthur. We learn about such mystery men as Hans Kammler, engineering genius and one of the most brutal and powerful men in the world at the end of the war. What, never heard of him? Not surprising. His name has been "sanitized" from Western history, as have those of many other prominent SS officials. His dossier is STILL classified in the U.S.

We are treated to discussions of physics research into areas far outside of the current paradigm, and the monstrous weapons which that research produced. We also see the smooth exit of the Nazis from the world stage at the war's end, and get glimpses of how they quietly wove their way into the fabric of current world society, taking positions of great power and control.

These are not, however, the rantings of "channelers," kooks, or other people who have forgotten to take their medication. These revelations are the result of hard investigative work by many people, especially helped by research into documentation from behind the Iron Curtain that escaped the "sanitizing" of Western political and business interests. Farrell documents and cites his case very, very well, and I guarantee you will be shocked (possibly also angered and scared). I was, and I have been investigating wild fringe things for nearly four decades (nor am I am all that easy to shock).

The information in this book has immense value, not only in a historical sense, but also to help one understand the manner in which Western society has been "changing" since World War II. The citations are also great for continued study.

Farrell unearths fascinating ideas and information, linking them to threads of science and history. One must read in depth to appreciate the amount of detail and knowledge presented in his books, as well as the depth of insight and perception of the author. If you like his other books, you will like this one, too.

I recommend all of Farrell's books.

4 out of 5 stars Food for serious thought   April 5, 2008

Narrow minded people will scoff at this book, but this is a serious work that brings up troubling inconsistencies in the history of WW2, Frightening in its documentation and research trail, it poses a theory that can not be summarily dismissed. Joseph Farrell is not a professional writer and I can imagine that he may not have been able to afford the best proofreader, but do not condemn the his research for this. Informative and if you have half a open mind should scare the Hell out of you at what "Nearly was" or could still be lurking under the cover of the governments "Top Secret" classification.

4 out of 5 stars Another brick falls from the wall   March 25, 2008

The truth is out there and the truth shall set you free. Author Joseph Farrell accepts the notion of the sea of difference between truth and half-truth, particularly when the latter are created out of the whole cloth of deception and its efforts aimed at maintaining the tenuous facade of global domination by forces that we have yet to comprehend or fear sufficiently in light of their true purpose.

It begins here; the first steps in the deconstruction of that walled mythos that has so long kept the truthful reality away from the masses. It is unusual, indeed, to be able to review the statements and allegation so presented in this book in an era when second-to-second live deception has reached a degree that we meekly and compliantly accept it almost as if it were our birthright.

Mr. Farrell comes to us in our night of ignorance, bringing illumination about incidents and events, faces and places, plans and schemes that have been bound together in a Gordian knot made by behind-the-scenes power brokers. His words, laid out badly, provide the key to real understanding; not just of the questions and issues posited, but also the more nefarious stimulii that have brought the need for books such as this to the forefront.

And how could anyone have believed otherwise? It is so very obvious that the technological and scientific giant that was the german war machine had to have been successful in the development of a wide panteon of uber-powerful weaponry. This fact is above reproach! It is infantile and self-deluding to fall victim to concern about piddling details - often simply raised as diversions by those who wish to remain "the man behind the curtain to which we should pay no attention." Ultimately, does it matter whether the first nuclear weapon was detomated in Ohrdorf, or in the Baltic, or at that mysterious plant in Poland? No, what is vital is the point that it must have happened. For otherwise, how could the Allied powers have purloined the weapon(s) to use on Japan but for the reason that they did in fact exist? Such is the matter of truth.

It is the responsibility of each invididual to read this book and - after due consideration - reach a logical and well-thought conclusion about this book.
