Editorial Reviews:

Product Description

'Dr. Joe Dispenza delves deep into the extraordinary potential of the mind. Read this book and be inspired to change your life forever.'

--Lynne McTaggart, author of The Field and The Intention Experiment

'A beautifully written book that provides a strong scientific basis for how the power of the human spirit can heal our bodies and our lives.'

--Howard Martin, executive vice president of HeartMath and coauthor of The HeartMath Solution

'Joe Dispenza gives you the tools to make real changes in your life.'

--William Arntz, producer/director of What the Bleep Do We Know!?

Joe Dispenza, D.C., has spent decades studying the human mind---how it works, how it stores information, and why it perpetuates the same behavioral patterns over and over. In the acclaimed film What the Bleep Do We Know!? he began to explain how the brain evolves---by learning new skills, developing the ability to concentrate in the midst of chaos, and even healing the body and the psyche.

Evolve Your Brain presents this information in depth, while helping you take control of your mind, explaining how thoughts can create chemical reactions that keep you addicted to patterns and feelings----including ones that make you unhappy. And when you do know how these bad habits are created, it's possible not to only break these patters, but also reprogram and evolve your brain, so that new, positive, and beneficial habits can take over.

5 out of 5 stars I love the woowoo, but here's the proof!!   November 24, 2008

What a great book! Having been a student of personal development and the law of attraction for some time it was wonderful to read scientific evidence as to how our brains truly can rewire and that we truly can make any changes to our lives we desire by focussing our thoughts. What an empowering book and all credit to the author for writing a scientific subject in an easy to read format.

5 out of 5 stars Evolve Your Brain   November 23, 2008

Incredible book. Should be read all neurologists & neuro-surgeons - it would definitely improve their understanding of brain functions as it relates to rehab. A must read for all stroke patients & rehab therapists. My wife & I are using Joe's techniques in her stroke rehab. She is beginning to walk where neuros & other docs said she would never move again.

This book is really for those who are SERIOUS about making positive changes in their lives. I saw Dr. Dispenza speaking at one of our company events two months ago and he absolutely blew us all away... I felt compelled to continue learning from this master and got his book and DVD... I have been reading it every single day, totally glued to it and begining to practice the exercises he outlines... I'm absolutely loving this process. Evolve Your Brain is a brilliant book that is filled with powerful knowledge and transformative information. I feel hopeful, excited and well prepared to change aspects of my life through the focused power of my mind! This book is truly a gift for all of humanity... Thank you Dr. Dispenza!

3 out of 5 stars Scientific Explanation of mind power and healing   November 14, 2008

I am already a believer in the power of the mind.

I know we can change our lives with thought power and I know we are capable of self healing. This book has very complex and lengthy scientific explanations.

If you really want in depth SCIENCE of Mind then this book will deliver.(510 pages worth) Evolve your brain starts out as an autobiography becomes a technical text book and then follows with interviews, throw in some philosophy for good measure and then in conclusion how-to techniques.

I don't think we needed all the brain anatomy information. For an easier read minus the strong scientific basis, I would rather recommend Mind Power by John Kehoe. It is a summarised version and far more practical read.

5 out of 5 stars WAY too technical but still worth it   November 11, 2008

Dispenza seems to want to make sure that we're all up to speed with brain physiology and have a very clear idea of how the brain functions. So he uses about 3/4 of the book doing so. If you're a normal human being, this will drive you crazy if you try to read it page for page.
I recommend that the reader skips all that technical junk and start reading around page 390. The meat of the book is in this final section and IT is the reason I purchased this book. This is the truly valuable stuff; why YOU probably purchased this book, to improve yourself by changing your thinking and feeling.
